This is the Louisa I was waiting after Will’s death.. discovering herself.. using her full “potential” as Will said.. This is the book which you just can not put away.. you have to find what happens next. It shows how Lou has evolved since last we saw her in After You. That Lou was mourning over Will’s death and not doing anything else. When there is an entry of Josh and details about how he looked same like Will, I was skeptical. William Traynor has left his “stamp” on Lou and no one could replace him. There are some point in this book where Lou’s stint at Gopniks have stretched far too much. Though it supported the real plot, but I think if we could have got some of her struggles with new business then her success was more enjoyable than reading letters. Will’s letters made me sad though.. Something about it makes me want to read Me before you again..To be honest, this is the better version of Louisa than After you! Loved it!

Loved it. Stayed up until 2am to finish it all in one go. Its not easy to write the "after" - after the first great love, after the first great heartbreak, and even after the find yourself again and fall in love again. I was doubtful Moyes could make this work, but she did. Beautifully. This story is funny, tender, wry, romantic, self reflective and so much more. I hated to see it finish. I appreciated the more richly diverse characters we meet in this novel also.A great read.

I should have known that I was going to ugly cry while reading Still Me since this makes the 8th Jojo Moyes book that I’ve read, and I’ve never been able to read one of her books without being an emotional mess! Moyes is so wonderful at tugging on her reader’s heartstrings, and no character does it better than lovely, sweet Louisa Clark!Lou is back for a 3rd time in Still Me, and I for one was thrilled to read about a character who I had grown to love so much in the first two books. I was also glad to reconnect with past characters, like her family (her parents always make me laugh) and the Traynors, that I’ve grown to love too! While I agree with many that After You was not as good as Me Before You (I did thoroughly enjoy book 2 even if I didn’t love it like I did book 1), I can’t say that about Still Me since I felt it was almost as good as the first (honestly, nothing can top Me Before You)!In Still Me, Lou is finally living up to the promise she made to Will to live boldly and say yes to new experiences. She’s left her family and her boyfriend, ambulance Sam, in England and moved to New York City to be an assistant…and secret keeper…to Agnes, the younger, second wife of the extremely wealthy Mr. Gopnik.“You always have one foot in two places. You can never be truly happy because, from the moment you leave, you are two selves, and wherever you are one half of you is always calling to the other. This is our price, Louisa. This is the cost of who we are.”Lou quickly finds out that it can be very lonely trying to figure out who you really are in a new place while the people you know and love the most are continuing to live their lives. She feels torn between what she wants in England, with Sam, and the life that she is making for herself in NYC. Who is Louisa Clark? It was so wonderful to see Lou grow and blossom in this book. Her journey to discover just who she really is and what she wants is poignant, heartbreaking, and heartwarming. She meets some unexpected people along the way who help her remember that she is still Lou but better and that remaining true to herself is the only path she knows how to take.Moyes writing, as usual, is superb and she brilliantly shows us the scenery of NYC, the parties, the crowded streets, and more. She is an author who makes me laugh and cry, and I did so much of both with Still Me since Moyes always seems to get Lou in the wildest situations! Moyes has definitely become an auto-buy author for me, so I can’t wait to see what she writes next!I love Lou, I truly do, and I hated saying goodbye to her, but I felt that Moyes gave her a happy ending, on her own terms which is all that I’ve ever wanted her to have. It was an utter joy to spend time with Lou one more time…Highly, highly recommended!

I usually reserve 5 stars for literary masterpieces. But I will give this a heartfelt 5 stars. Obviously it isn’t news to all of us who are fans of this series that this is book 3. I think book 2, After You, was somewhat of an emotional let down based on the fact that Will had given Louisa what he thought were the tools for a life after him and she kinda blew it. I admit I was somewhat disappointed after Book 2 but that’s life. We don’t always follow the path that perhaps was intended for us. But if you were somewhat disappointed, you will love book 3! It continues with Louisa as she takes on her job in New York City and builds her character even further. You find yourself rooting for her her ups and sad for her downs. Best news? She’s back to her old self again. Please, if you read the first two, read this one! Loved it.

I loved Me Before You and enjoyed After You, two books I recommend you read before you read the third book in the trilogy, Still Me.In Still Me, Louisa keeps her promise to Will, her love from book one, to say yes to new opportunities. This opportunity brings her from her home in England—and her hunky boyfriend the paramedic Sam—to New York City to be the assistant to a wealthy young wife of a wildly rich man. Louisa acts like something of an emotional bodyguard for Agnes against the society women who assumed she stole Leonard from his first wife because she was just after his money and citizenship (she’s from Poland). There are perks to her job, like going to charity balls in 3,000-dollar dress purchased by her employer, but it puts a huge strain on her relationship with Sam. Can they make the long-distance thing work, or is this going to be the end of them?I laughed and teared up at this book. Moyes does a great job of a putting the character in a terrible situation where you think “Oh no, how is she going to get out of this?” I just didn’t laugh quite as hard or cry as much as I did in Me Before You. Still, this novel is worth your time.

I love this author and this book just made me love her more! Wonderful story, just takes you right in, couldn't put it down_-didn't want it to end!!!!!!
